Movie Review : Godzilla

Godzilla
A Review :
Gareth Edwards the director famous for darker compositions and deep compilations in Hollywood movies, this time failed to make something extraordinary. Godzilla being one of the most lethal monsters doesn’t come up the way it should have been in the movie. While from the start Brian Cranston`s took the movie on a decent pace and moving ahead the same story of Hollywood brought up. Aaron Taylor Johnson turned up into a hero later on as the successor of his scientist father. Acting of spot players in the movie is always remains in focus, but this movie lacks it. The tale of ignoring the theories, calculations and facts of old scientists always gets end up with mass destruction. From Japan to USA devastation was the same. Warships, Jet planes, hell lot of ammunition and nuclear warheads all of no use when they have a monster like Godzilla. Woken up from the deep ocean and land masses, the character design of Godzilla is absolutely brilliant. Giant, destructive Godzilla was the only thing I would appreciate about the movie.
Second half of the movie started with static pace and the fight between the monsters spread enough bloodshed and destruction to human race.
Animation, Background scoring, 3D effects and screen play is OK. I wish they would have delivered somewhere near the trailers of the movie.
My rating : 6/10
